Shivaji Park Gymkhana: Known as the cradle of Indian Cricket, Shivaji Park is world renowned for it's multiple games of cricket running side by side. Some famous names who have trained and played here are Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Ajit Wadekar, Suhas Gupte, Vijay Manjrekar, Ramakant Desai, Balu Gupte, M.S. Patil, Dilip Sardesai, Ashok Wadekar, Padmakar Shivalkar, Eknath Solkar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Chandrakant Pandit, Lalchand Rajput, Sandeep Patil, Ajit Agarkar, Pravin Amre, Vinod Kambli and Sanjay Manjrekar.
Bombay Gymkhana: Bombay Gymkhana established in 1875, is one of the most exclusive grounds in the city of Mumbai. The ground had the distinction of hosting India's first Test cricket match on 15 December 1933, captained by CK Nayudu. Temporary stands were put up at the ground to accommodate a record crowd of 50,000 people, with tickets selling at five times their usual price. The match is remembered for Lala Amarnaths century, noted to be one of the best innings played in Indian cricket.
Mumbai Cricket Association: Mumbai Cricket Association has a rich cricket heritage thanks to the quadrangular and pentangular tournaments played in then Bombay, the matches were extremely popular with all the star cricketers of the country participating in them. Mumbai was considered as the nursery of Indian Cricket and there was a time when the Indian playing eleven consisted of six to seven Mumbai cricketers. Mumbai has given the country 68 Test cricketers.
